Virtually all of us have been wounded, whether it was once or twice, occasionally,
or regularly. For most of us, these wounds impact our lives in profound
and subtle ways. We want to live our lives as radiant examples of how
to live on the planet. We want to become aware of, and develop an ongoing
connection with our higher selves. But we find that we are blocked by
fears of lack of self worth. Sometimes we try to prove we are worthy,
but nothing ever seems to be enough.
Sat Santokh is a leader in the field of transformational
social change workshops, and the application of yogic technology to living
in the world while caring about it deeply. A former manager of the Grateful
Dead, he is the senior Kundalini Yoga teacher in the San Francisco Bay
Area. After leading workshops for over thirty-five years, he has spent
the last ten years working on developing an understanding of the nature
of self worth issues and how to effectively address them.
Comments
"I was so grateful to discover that I could go back and recover
my innocence. I have felt dirty for so many years. What a miracle, to
be able to start over, to know that I was innocent, and that I deserve
to be happy. What a blessing. Thank you"
"It was intense and
amazingly effective. I'm still not sure
how we got to the reality of each other's issues so quickly and easily...
I did this 40 day women's group that met once a week, but I it didn't
get as close and intimate. Having the whole weekend together was really
important for that. I learned some things about myself that I already
knew, but couldn't recognize, as well as some new insights to my patterns.
I also felt extremely comfortable with your presence and mediation, thank
you, again."
"The most important thing I learned is to always love myself completely
and unconditionally. I also think that talking about things that affect
your life helps you to not only see the problem, but it also helps you
move away from it. I think being able to tell this wonderful, safe and
powerful group of people why I felt I was unworthy was one of the most
powerful and courageous things I've ever done. You created a space where
this could happen. I would recommend this workshop to everyone!"
"You seemed to have come from a place not of erudition, or technical
preparedness, but from a place of true wisdom, compassion, and love. I
thought a couple of times while you (we) were doing the most intense work
of our time together whether you had any training in psychotherapy. It
came up as a questions but I knew that it didn't matter, maybe you do,
maybe you don't but what was important is that you were able to embody
this wisdom, compassion and love, any king of technical training seemed
irrelevant."
"This workshop was a wonderful combination of physical, mental,
and emotional work, using yoga and group support to work through old wounds
to my sense of self-worth. I had powerful insights that I have not been
able to access through counseling or talk-therapy. I came away with tools
for learning to love myself unconditionally."
"Go, go now, and go soon. This workshop is a must for all women
who are ready to love themselves. It is the necessary catalyst your soul
needs to begin a new journey. Like the spiritual kick in the butt we all
need at some point in our lives to grow into who we want to be."
